The dining room
Windows along the whole length, red and yellow tables, bentwood chairs. You eat lunch watching light aircraft line up their approach. Warm in winter, bright all year.

Fresh produce and local suppliers, a menu renewed twice a year with the seasons, and daily specials that change — as the name suggests — daily. Expect 13 € to 26 € à la carte, in a panoramic dining room or out on the terrace.
This is not complicated cooking, and it is not trying to be. It is generous, well-executed bistro food made with the best of what the market has that week.
Meat, fish, house terrines, slow-cooked dishes in winter, salads in summer. The menu is renewed twice a year, as the seasons turn — long enough to get it right rather than chase novelty. Alongside it, the daily specials follow the market and change from one day to the next.
The cellar leans towards independent growers we actually like, and there is a proper choice by the glass so that lunch need not involve opening a bottle.

The menu changes twice a year: once as the warm season begins, once in autumn. It settles, it beds in, and the regulars find their bearings. What changes every day are the daily specials, chalked up according to the market.
The daily specials are not fixed on this page. The simplest thing is to follow us on Instagram, where we post the suggestions and each new menu — or ring us and ask what there is today.
Both the menu and the specials are written in French. Ask the staff and they will happily talk you through it; a good many of our guests come off the Tunnel and we are well used to it.
On weekdays a set lunch is offered to regulars, people working nearby and travellers in a hurry. It is built around the day's special — just ask for it when you arrive.
We serve lunch every day except Monday. In the evening the restaurant opens Friday and Saturday all year round, and Tuesday to Thursday from May to the end of October. Closed Sunday evening and all day Monday.
Outside the May-to-October season, a main-and-dessert menu — the chef's surprise — can be served in the evening on request. Mention it when you book and we will arrange it.
Hours can change on French public holidays — a phone call settles it.
Book a table online
Booking is handled by our partner module, which opens in a new tab. No card details pass through this website.

Windows along the whole length, red and yellow tables, bentwood chairs. You eat lunch watching light aircraft line up their approach. Warm in winter, bright all year.

From the first warm days the terrace opens onto the lawn. Parasols, wooden tables, and a big garden where children can play without leaving your line of sight.

At the far end of the room there is a large open fireplace. As soon as the days shorten, it is lit for evening service.
The nearest tables go first, understandably: a glass of red, the crackle behind you and the light going off the runway — worth booking ahead for. The table for two facing the hearth is the most requested in the room.

We regularly take big tables: Sunday family lunches, club outings, coach parties heading for the coast, business meals. Using every space, we go up to a hundred covers.
It is strongly advised, particularly at weekends, on French public holidays and in summer. Book online or call +33 3 22 19 17 89.
We serve lunch every day except Monday. In the evening the restaurant opens Friday and Saturday all year, and Tuesday to Thursday from May to the end of October. It is closed on Sunday evening and all day Monday. Off-season, a main-and-dessert menu can still be served in the evening on request.
The menu and the daily specials are written in French, but the staff will gladly talk you through them. Just ask — it is a large part of the fun.
Yes, and high chairs. The garden next door does the rest: children run about while the coffee lasts a little longer.
Yes, including a full coach party. We agree a set menu and a time slot in advance — ask us for a quote or give us a ring.
For hygiene reasons, dogs are not admitted in the dining room. They are welcome in the bedrooms and the communal areas, and on the terrace depending on how busy we are.
You reach us directly — no call centre, no middleman. Rooms and tables can be booked online, 24/7.
