Who you are contracting with

Bookings are made with SARL L'Aérodrome de la Baie de Somme, share capital €40,000, registered with the Amiens Trade and Companies Register under number 824 255 509, whose registered office is at D1001 – Aérodrome d'Abbeville, 80132 Buigny Saint Maclou, France.

Making a booking

You select your room type and rate, add any extras, check the details and the total, provide your contact details and, where a guarantee or prepayment is required, your card details. You then accept the general conditions and the conditions of the rate you have chosen, and confirm.

The sale becomes final only once we have sent you a confirmation by email. Each booking is personal to the named guest and may not be transferred to a third party.

Rates

Rates are quoted in euros, per room, for the number of people and the dates selected, and include VAT at the rate applicable on the date of booking. Unless expressly stated, extras such as breakfast are not included.

The local tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is not included and is payable directly at the hotel.

Any currency conversion shown is indicative only and not contractual. If a rate is payable at the hotel and your currency differs from ours, the amount charged may differ from the quotation because of exchange rate movements.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment data is exchanged over an encrypted SSL connection.

On a Non-refundable rate, payment is taken in full when the booking is confirmed, and you must present the card used for payment on arrival. On a Flexible rate, payment is made when the service is provided; on arrival we will ask for a deposit or a card pre-authorisation to guarantee sums spent on site. Identification may be requested as part of card fraud prevention procedures.

Cancellation

Flexible rate. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, for any reason, the total cost of the first night is due and will be charged as compensation.

Non-refundable rate. If you cancel or amend the booking, for any reason, 100% of the prepaid total is due and will be charged. The same applies if you do not arrive on the expected date.

Right of withdrawal

Under Article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L 221-18 does not apply to accommodation services. The contract is therefore final once the booking is made.

Your stay

• Rooms are available from 5 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure; otherwise an additional night is charged.
• If you leave early, one night's charge applies unless you have given the hotel at least 24 hours' notice.
• On arrival you will be asked to show identification, in order to complete the police registration form required in France.
• The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Guests are liable for cleaning and restoration costs resulting from smoking indoors.
• Animals on a lead or in a carrier may be accepted in communal areas, subject to a supplement. For hygiene reasons they are not admitted in the dining areas.
• Personal belongings left in rooms or public areas remain the guest's responsibility.
• Guests are liable for any damage they cause in their room or elsewhere on the premises.
• Behaviour contrary to public order or decency may result in the guest being asked to leave, without compensation or refund.
• Where Wi-Fi is provided, it must not be used to reproduce or distribute copyright-protected works without authorisation.

Complaints

Any reservation or complaint about the services provided must be sent to the hotel in writing, with supporting documents, within 8 days of your departure. After that period the services are deemed to have conformed to the booking.

If we cannot accommodate you

In the event of exceptional circumstances, force majeure or an inability to provide the room booked, the hotel may — subject to your prior agreement — arrange accommodation of an equivalent category with comparable services.

Governing law, language and disputes

These conditions and the transactions arising from them are governed by French law. They are written in French; where translated, only the French text is authoritative in the event of a dispute.

Disputes that cannot be settled between the hotel and the customer are submitted to the competent courts under ordinary law. Before that, you may use conventional mediation: the hotel is a member of MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage, BP 80303, 75823 Paris Cedex 17 — www.mtv.travel. The European online dispute resolution platform is also available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
